- Best English movie: Hairspray
Best Hindi movie: Shootout at Lokhandwala
- Most seminal experience: Vipassana meditation course
- City of Enlightenment: Pushkar
- Must go back: Dharamsala
- Best urban experience: Singapore
- Most liberating moment: Pondicherry, grieving and bringing closure to Ariel
- Biggest surprise: Refuge is not home
- Best human connection: Gabi
- Best Asian TV channel: ZoomTV (India)
- Most insipid TV programming anywhere: Indonesia (across the board)
